Timonium Showroom Now Open
6/21/10 – Keener Kitchens' Timonium MD location has opened its' doors to include a new line of semi-custom cabinetry, the Concepts Series, along with their own locally manufactured Keener custom cabinets.
The new 3,000-square-foot showroom has been designed to underscore the vast range of possibilities available with custom-designed and custom-built cabinetry. Kitchens are shown in their entirety, with true aisle spacing and full-size work areas to give homeowners a true sense of home.
In addition to kitchen and bath displays, the showroom features a complete teak outdoor kitchen, a bamboo media center display, and a custom coffee bar and fireplace to warm customers.
Other showroom highlights include Sub Zero and Wolf appliances, a wide variety of exotic woods, new multi-step furniture finishes, and “Ice Stone” countertops that combine concrete and recycled glass. The Timonium showroom also provides customers with a full range of design services.
Keener Celebrates 37 Years of Excellence
10/23/08 – For 37 years, Keener Kitchen Manufacturing Company has been designing, manufacturing and installing some of the region’s finest custom cabinetry. Started by Everett and Arlene Keener in 1973 in an historic cigar factory in Red Lion, PA, the firm now employs over 70 designers, craftsmen and professional installers. In addition to award-winning kitchens, baths and other special rooms for the home, Keener also manufactures commercial casework for schools, offices, medical and financial institutions, and other applications.
Keener Kitchen has the area’s largest group of on-staff NKBA-certified kitchen designers, who provide personal designs and custom solutions for homeowners in Pennsylvania, Maryland and northern Virginia. Keener’s staff also provides consultation on countertops, appliances, fixtures, wallcoverings and flooring.
At Keener, every cabinet is made to order for a specific customer and a specific purpose. Using the finest grades of maple, cherry, oak, birch and other traditional and exotic hardwoods, each cabinet is hand-crafted and hand-finished using a combination of the latest manufacturing technology and years of woodworking experience.
